What is Privacy in Design?
Privacy in Design is a development framework that focuses on proactively embedding privacy into the systems you design.
Who created Privacy in Design?
Privacy by Design is a concept that has been developed and promoted by Ann Cavoukian, the former Information & Privacy Commissioner of Ontario, Canada. Other regulators, including the US Federal Trade Commission and the European Commission, have also developed the concept. Privacy in Design integrates their work with KI Design's extensive experience supporting privacy implementation.
How will Privacy in Design help our leadership?
Although developers are the ones who ultimately integrate privacy into design, it is the leadership of a company that creates and enforces policies, guidelines and processes. To ensure that your developers can implement your privacy practices, it is vital for your leadership to understand the important elements of proactive privacy framework.
